Game Of Thrones (spoilers)

There's going to be lots of drama between arya and Sansa. I think that's what will lead Arya to finally cross Littlefinger off her list.
He's playing her at the moment. I think the scroll was forged by him to pit them against each other.

Not sure if anyone noticed it but I think once the 7 make it out of the gate there's people behind them bringing out a cage or some kind of contraption. That's what will be used to trap one of the undead. However I don't think any of them anticipated a horde to attack immediately and they're taken by surprise.
I don't think Littlefinger is on Arya's list - she has no idea he betrayed her family

I can't figure out why the third dragon wasn't sent to ride shotgun.... it only took one dragon to defeat the Lannister/Tully army while the other two flew loops around the castle. Send the third, let him/her play overwatch sniper and burn a wall of fire along the ground to protect a retreat. It really doesn't seem that complicated.

yes, actually more so because Dany would actually be a bastard now
She can't be a bastard because the Annulment was her brother's, not her father's. Rhaegar's original children wouldn't have a right to the throne, but that's a moot point because he Mountain crushed their heads on the floor.

only took one dragon to defeat the back of the Lannister/Tully army - remember, the front of the army made it to King's Landing with the gold
Only because they were late to arrive. The front of the army would've met the same fate had they been slower - doesn't change that one dragon can get the job done.

i got confused before... shes heir of the Mad King which was legitimate... Raeghar is her brother so the annulment wouldnt matter
sorry, you're right - I got confused too - technically Raeghar's other children would have been bastards after the anullment - without it then yes, Dany would be next, but since Jon is now the true heir, Dany doesn't have a claim anymore

yeah, I got that wrong and updated my post above, but Rhaegar's other children (before their heads were dashed up against a wall by the Mountain) were bastards - there's a reason the Rhaegar's knights were guarding the Tower of Joy, the true heir was in there

I'm pretty sure Littlefinger is on her list. When she found out he was there she was really excited.
Also with the dragons I'm pretty sure she doesn't send the other 2 into battle because they're still too small whereas Drogon ran away and ate heavily and outgrew the two so he has very thick armor.

Here's what I was talking about with the contraption. Either they're pulling something or just very cold.
Wait nvm you can't screenshot HBO go you just get a black photo. Damn you HBO!
Also at the end of the teaser for the next episode it shows them running toward the wall right?

Correct succession goes to the heir's son, like there was question as if Robb got Jeyne Westerling preggers, that baby would be king over rest of Starks. Everything I have read says that if R+L=J is true and Jon was legitimized, he'd be heir over Dany.

That said, GRRM's philosophy is claims to the throne don't matter at all, its who has the strength to hold it. As Ned learned, no one gives a shit who the rightful heir is.

the more im researching the more i dont know... Under Westeros rules i think it would be Jon but under Targaryen rules i think its still Danerys

Here's the family tree

So, Mad King Aerys & Rhaelle were brother and sister. They had 3 children. Rhaegar was the heir. The son of the heir is next in line.

Rheagar had 2 kids w Elia Martel (the mountain killed her and her and her babies in the Red Keep and her brother Oberyn came to avenge her in Tyrion's trial by combat)

Rhaelle lived on Dragonstone with the two younger children. She was killed when Stannis invaded, but her children were snuck over the narrow sea to Essos.

Then the next in line was Viserys, till he got his crown...

Then Daenerys.

HOWEVER, if Rhaegar's marriage with Elia was annulled, and he was legally wed to Liana Stark, then Jon would have been the 3rd legitimate child of Rhaegar. With both his older half-siblings dead, Jon Targaryen is the rightful heir to the throne.

Make sense now?

Nope. All 3 go into an epic battle. My guess is the next episode. Somehow with the way time has been working this season (ahem, there is no time, apparently), someone from the suicide squad going into the north will have a raven or Bran will send a raven to Dany and when they are all trapped (we saw they are walking into the night king's army), Dany will come riding in on Drogon and the other two following as part to fuck up the White walker army and also to rescue them.

It is also confirmed Benjen is in this season. I am guessing it is this next episode.

Biggest issue with my prediction IMO is that I don't see how they will capture a Wight and be able to bring it back on a fucking dragon.

Regardless of dragons, next episode is guaranteed to be HUGE.

Edit: To further elaborate why I think all three dragons are in next episode, we see a ton of fire north of the wall in the trailers for this season. How else is all that fire gonna get there? Not from Beric's flaming sword.

The final episode is supposed to be two hours - is that next week?

I think next week is the penultimate episode of season 7. Next week's episode is 71 minutes though, and the week after is 81 minutes (per IMDB).

Edited to include the word penultimate :grinning:

my guess is not all of the motley crew that went north of the wall will survive - all they have to do is bring one of their bodies south of the wall and restrain it before it changes - my guess is Beric, Thoros of Myr, or Tormund - although, Jorah would be more poetic and do a lot more to convince Dany of the gravity of the situation

I'm not Mr. Team Jorah or anything, but I do like the guy, and if he gets greyscale, finds the only person who can cure him, endures the treatment, only to almost immediately become a freaking white walker undead ice zombie I'm not going to be happy.

Tormund is destined to get the tall woman. It is written.
