I’m in the argument. I’m not above the fray. We have no concrete evidence that this is happening or not happening.
Taking in the information available at the moment and weighing the construction feasibility it is highly unlikely that the stadium would be built at that location.
So when information leaks that’s wasn’t meant to, some orgs own up to it and others deflect. Somebody mentioned somewhere that this was supposedly done beginning of this year/end of last year. That’s really not that long ago in the scheme of the stadium search, so while it’s totally believable that they’ve moved on, it’s also believable that they’re spinning the leak.
I don’t know, but the twitter confirmation from Roberto A’s “reliable source” isn’t enough to actually shut the door. I mean, hell, this source was holding out on this outdated info, having never leaked it even though it’s not supposedly in play, and only when pushed for a response to the leak says it’s old news. Considering how much fans want confirmation of stadium progress, this could have easily been leaked/reported long ago as a sign of good faith by the club - but it wasn’t.
Honestly, it’s not a tin foil hat, but I have no reason to believe Roberto A. I’m also not banking on this being the holy grail design. Since it has been confirmed by multiple people’s sources as being legit, then until the club publicly rules it out/announces another location, it’s still in play.

Really. An anonymous off the record source debunks an unsourced jpg posted by an pseudonymous forum poster.
It’s fucking thin on both sides, but no reason to take the anonymous source as verified truth.

If enough people have sources that confirm it is real -as in a real concept proposed by the club- then that’s got double/triple confirmation whether anonymously sourced or not.... unless they all have the same source.
But only one person has said its dead in the water and old news. Maybe it is and maybe it isn’t, but in the would of information and leads, a single source of info that can’t be corroborated is just drifting in the wind.
How do you not just accept that I agreed with you on my conclusion?
