USMNT Talk

It may not be USMNT, but I've been watching USWNT World Cup videos to cheer myself up. They Dos a Cero'ed Germany

Everyone blaming Klinsmann, who deserves plenty for that shitty lineup he put out, but no one blames the players? Jozy was absolutely useless. What does Jermaine Jones offer again? even Bradley, who was awesome on set pieces, was not creating.

I'm afraid Klinsmann could go with a crazy old, and crazy defensive lineup like:

------Howard--------
Fabian---Cameron-besler--DMB (?!))
--------Beckerman-Jones-----
---------------Bradley---------
------------------Dempsey-------
-----------jozy------wondo-----------------

And hope Clint can make magic on the counter. I hate this lineup, but it really looks like this is somewhat like what he will trot out based on his roster.
Pretty sad that I almost had the whole lineup picked out as my shitty lineup.

I just don't understand going with the old guys for this game. We desperately need someone to take the starting position from Jozy, he is horrendous.

USMYT US U-17 World cup starts this week and the US plays Nigeria on Saturday 4pm and the game will be on Fox Sports 2. I will watch but only to finally see Christian Pulisic play. He was recently named top 50 youth prospects in the world.

Side note - Pierre De Silva is also on the roster he used to be affiliated with New York Soccer Club a NYCFC affiliate but then went to train at IMG in Florida and is now a Orlando City Academy player.

Blame Klinsmann for putting those players on the field in the first place. Jozy somehow miraculous got better from the shit he was during the Gold Cup, no. Klinsmann made Guzan the starter long before the day of the match.

Sir Alex Ferguson on CNBC today:
- Said the US has a good chance of winning the world cup within the next 20 years.
- Said the improvements/rise of MLS has been good.

Dislike the shit out of this news coming out today

Johnson wasn't hurt and subbed himself out of the game in the 111th minute on Saturday. He was awful all game. Still don't know why JK told the media though he should have kept that in house.

According to Fabian's club he is injured. Still, you've got to love Klinsmann's leadership by throwing yet another player under the bus in order to deflect the blame away from himself.

Yeah I saw that... they're now listing him as doubtful for this weekend. This is turning into a shit show. I kind of feel like this is an social media fuck you from Borussia to JK for not only playing their player for that long in the heat, playing him out of position, and tossing his ass right under the bus.

Attendance tonight is going to be terrible. On the TicketMaster site, it looks like 60-70% of the seats are still available. Match also is now at 7 PM, not 6:30 PM.

Yeah I heard that too. Usually I blame it on ticket prices but they don't seem too crazy to me when I just took a quick look. They do ZERO marketing for these games. The U23 games were so empty it was hard to watch. However I heard the average ticket for those games was $75... for a youth match... That's insane. US Soccer has been killing itself with their stupid ticket pricing and awful marketing.

It's on ESPN (or ESPN2 - can't remember which) at 7pm. Mix is wearing number 8.

Anytime! I seem to be the only USA supporter in my section. Oh well. I'm excited to see Keylor Navas as well as the USA team so I'm making friends.
Kinda hard to tell who's cheering for who with both sets of fans in Red White and Blue. Lol

It's really irritating to see all these empty seats around RBA. I'd love to go to a USMNT game, but they're hardly ever playing anywhere near where I live when I'm in the USA.
It seems like all the fans on the east coast take advantage of the fact that there are always games nearby. Games at RBA and in Boston are hardly ever sold out.

Both stadiums are TERRIBLE to get in/out of and add in a weekday match? Not a surprise at all......

Then why do they keep playing matches there? Last two games at RBA and Gillete stadiums were less than 60-65% full.
