Well, it'll be really good to see Mix finally get some playing time when his new club picks him in mid December.

I don't expect him to get picked, unless we had some type of incentive on his contract lowering his cap hit and it can be transferred to the selecting team. No way will one of the teams commit so much of their cap to a player in Mix's situation, and no way on earth is Mix going to accept a pay cut. If MLS can opt-out of his contract and try to get him cheaper, Mix will simply return to Scandinavia and earn at the very minimum 500k, if not more.

All players selected in the expansion draft may renegotiate the contracts of their selections. So if he's willing to stay in America and take a paycut, he could be selected.

One thing is clear - he won't be on our roster next year one way or another.
