Yeah, so this is what Metro had to deal with at Giants, and what we'll have to deal with until we get the hell out of Yankee Stadium. Supporters sections in club-owned grounds are more self policing (within obvious limits). But this is clearly an extension of the block-long list of all that is forbidden in YS. That flags, banners, drums, musical instruments, costumes, streamers, and anything considered "a distraction" (their words) can get to denied entrance/ejected is a MAJOR problem. This is not some debate over your personal opinions of curse words. This is "sit down and shut up" policing (with actual police) that is going to become worse as security/stadium folks develop a history of grievance with non-baseball fans.
If you are offended by swear words in a supporters section: go to the "family stand" or whatever they call it. If that's unacceptable to you, you'll need to find another passtime, cause soccer fans in NYC are not turning into Ned Flanders. If you don't like it, stay home with your fingers in your ears reciting psalms.
And Jesus, if someone with Bernard Manning as their avatar is going to get moralistic about four-letter-words, from six time zones away, then we've got worse cognitive difficulties than misspelling.
And while we're at it, lay off the classist B.S. over people making spelling errors. Makes you look like a d*ck.
