You know, if he ever does arrive as advertised and promised. Instead of loudly booing or cheering him, the fans could just go all silent the first time his name is announced, and the first time he takes the pitch. Sometimes silence speaks louder then words.
We may let things eventually slide and roll off our backs, but us real New Yorkers never forget.

The point I was making was tevez and toure where hated at city. At that point but the minute they scored it was all forgotten. I personally never felt the same too them and still ended up clapping them.
On the bench again against barca.will be fresh as a spring lamb when he gets here.
I really don't get the point of hating on Lampard at this point. Ok boo him in his debut fine. Whats the point of continuously hating on him after that? Maybe I am insane, but I personally want all NYCFC players to do well, because they play for us and its better for us if they do well. Us booing a player every chance we get doesn't help anything at all, all it does is make things worse. If you want to get your point across boo him his first game back, if you boo him every time after that, you need to move on imo. You aren't accomplishing anything at that point.
I for one am really glad we got to go through all this embarrassment and turmoil so Lampard could play for 5 minutes at the end of an already decided Champions League tie against Barcelona. Very, very necessary to keep him from his debut with NYCFC.

I really would rather Lampard not come at this point. I don't even care about getting a transfer fee. Let city take him or not, and then use the spot on DeRossi, Xavi, whoever.

i am really pleased about this cos frank is still some player. however. the fact we are pissing so many people off is the icing on the cake.
He will miss around 8 weeks of the MLS season.
The City Football Group is for the benefit of the entire Group - New York City will benefit if Lampard goes there as a Premier League title winner, and of course the entire group will be better off if that happens.
