I noticed that it said that he was signed for his leadership qualities. Wonder if they mean that he's there to organise the defence on the pitch as a frequent starter, or to provide some guidance in training as a squad player?

Edit: just went back and reviewed our squad list so far. I have no idea but I was convinced we had a bit more depth at CB than we do - although I had to go back and check when I realised I couldn't think who the depth I was thinking about would be. Guess he's going to be starting, at least in the early season, then.
