Not impressed by Ilenič this preseason. Too many times, he's been roasted on defense, lost the ball or not closed down on his man to lead to an opponent goal.

.......Welp, another lead given up. And this time a 2-0 lead. Most ties in MLS in 2023. Looks to be the same way in 2024.

Wasn't it 2-0 when we pulled our starters? That's what I care about. The stuff that happens with the full second unit is unimportant. The competitive portion of the game was over when we pulled our starters at 2-0. Anything that happens afterwards is with a group of players unlikely to see a lot of time together.

To draw any conclusions from what happened with the second unit is so silly.

yes. our starters vs galaxy scrubs and they gifted us 2 goals. not exactly a stellar performance.

but it just preseason so i don't care. looking forward to how the team looks when it counts.
