City Football Group - Financials & Acquisitions

In the documents the CFG Stadium Group is for “Stadium Operations.” I read that to mean everything that happens on game day - tent, turnstiles, advertisement, food and beverage, employee salaries, insurance, etc.

Well, those are all Legends/Securitas employees.

CFG Stadium Group, LCC is what to use for searches in terms of lobbying efforts.

All of this is great to read and worrisome.

Here’s the rub. No one cares. If the US Government doesn’t care, then it doesn’t matter. Stop worrying about.

Haha the thought of the US government as my barometer for what to care about

3 years ago, things were different.

My wife and I had an argument today about the new Alabama abortion bill. We’re both relatively pro-life but we’re both startled by what they are attempting in certain parts of the country.

My point to her is the same here. Until people that matter (governments, football associations, league commissioners and sponsors) care, why should we?

That’s the “I got mine” mentality.

I wouldn't say there's an imperative for anyone to do something. The only thing I could do authentically is tell people why I do something.

And maybe respond to what you're saying - the only reason the entities you mentioned would do anything is if they have an incentive to. Consumers own that much at least.

Would holding up a picture of Ahmad Mansour be considered a political statement or something otherwise banned by MLS?
The interpretation seems to vary from stadium to stadium. We saw the pro Proud Boy banner held up by some NYCFC away fans at DCU and then Tommy Miles was thrown out for holding up an antifascist banner. Also the NYCFC fans who were told not to display a NO H8 banner.

Sure. And the consumers/voters don’t care.

So don’t lose sleep over it.
