I noticed yesterday that Philly has a mid-week game before our match. It’s at Atlanta in the CCL tonight (Tuesday).
I suppose this could give us some theoretical advantage with the game and travel. However, Philly will still have 3 full days off before our match, and it’s early in the season. So, unless they rest people against us on Saturday (which is in between the two legs), I don’t see much of an upside for NYC.
during gudi's preview he said he never really played left back before. said he had to learn defensive positioning and work on his 1v1 defending.
explains a lot. but he's still super slow.
So what was he before coming here?during gudi's preview he said he never really played left back before. said he had to learn defensive positioning and work on his 1v1 defending.

So what was he before coming here?
...What? Then why did we sign him?
I mentioned it before, he was left midfielder. We should try him on the wing once, see what happens. So what was he before coming here?
wasn't he more of a midfielder? but he really sucked in that position in that MLS is back game vs orlando
So what was he before coming here?
If anything, it's actually the other way. Maybe the team bought him and told ronnie "nono play him as a LB!" and he is trying to get him away from LB? Maybe that's why we signed two other LB, because the team knows that Gudi isn't a LB.Thanks all. I totally missed the pre-NYCFC midfield thing. I thought it was a weird Ronnie experiment.
