MLS - May 1 - Philadelphia (Away)

I'm feeling pessimistic about this. With Philly's run in the CCL (in which they've been good) they should be significantly more match-sharp than we are.

We looked strong in the short time before the red card and it's tough to evaluate after that but... I foresee a lot of scoreless draws and losses ahead with 20 shots if we don't find someone who has a decent finishing ability.

Not a lot to take away with the Union on 3 days rest and us playing up a man for 75min... but are we at our best with 3 ATB? It allows Sands, Morales and Parks all to play.

Hopefully this team learns to finish and we’ll be ok at least.

Thórarinsson is so slow

That was a really good performance. We were dominating before the red card and never let up the pressure afterwards. Played them out of the park. That's a damn good team, even with them focused on CCL. To play like that on the road against a title contender, this team might be better than we thought. Taty, Medina, and Maxi all were awesome today.

Is it finally clicking for Medina? If so, we are going to be much better than we all thought this winter.

Is it weird that when maxi took some corners I thought, "ugh nah medina should take it" LMAO

Overall I enjoyed the game! The passing is getting a lot better, and every player did well (yeah up a man i know but still). Gudi wasn't the best out there but I don't think he performed terribly, except for a few times he got absolutely wrecked by whoever their right winger is lol.

I like the 3-ATB. It's really nice, and I think morales + parks had a really good shift in midfield this week.

Hoping for more good fortune!
