The pigeon one was awesome
I would have voted for the pigeons. I would have spent Cityzens points earning extra votes for the pigeon one.
This club truly has no sense of playfulness.
BTW, weren't there supposed to be 5 options? 3 designed by fans and 2 by the club? Why only 4? Why aren't the fan entries identified as such?

Honestly, I hate the very notion that there's a supporter's push for the Pigeon to be our mascot - they are vile and repulsive creatures that plague the city, and yet we'd probably eat them readily in a Zombie Apocalypse..... uh, but I digress....
The point is that even though I don't want them as our mascot, that was a nice graphic and would have been brilliant if they also added a pair of sneakers hanging from the telephone wire - What says NYC better than Pigeons & drug sneakers??? Way better than what the team put up to vote on..... Freshman Graphic Design 101....

They've done that on other votes too. Member scarf, etc. Not that that explains it or makes it any better.
I mean it's going on the necktape. Soooo can't exactly fit a tshirt design on it. Expect something that makes a statement but is simple.
Simple isn't a problem, it's the total lack of quality and creativity. The names of each borough is the absolute first thing that would come to mind because it's so obvious - not that it should rule it out, but the delivery has to be meaningful. I seriously would have failed the assignment in college if I turned options equivalent to these to my professor.
Weren't half of these supporter submitted? So even the best of the supporter stuff is boring then.
I'm just saying I didn't expect much besides color patterns and text for this and my hopes weren't high.
FIFY. I'm sure there was some much better stuff submitted but not chosen by NYCFC to be voted on. I'm actually amazed the pigeons motif wasn't picked, although I suspect the club (along with me) does not want it to catch on. That was damn catchy and tongue in cheek for representing the city.
