It was surprisingly hard to find a half-decent image for that quote, and I wasn't motivated to make one myself. Almost all of them, besides being uninspired, spelled jam as "jame" in the "jam every other day" part. Such a weird error to propagate.Am I the only one looking at this and shaking my head over the horror of PowerPoint bullet lists?
You could also argue Kreis didn't want RJ initially. That he was only signed mid-season because injuries forced it upon him. Then none of his chosen defenders remain.

Yup. Jersey alone covers half the cost. That actually seems like a pretty good deal if you otherwise have the time and dosh to travel/attend.
Well, it's not a great deal by any means, but if you're going, it's not a bad deal either. Tickets for all day Saturday are only $22. So its $22+$115=$137. $215-137=$78 for a 15 minute bus ride and a "social" where you may or may not see anyone you care about seeing. Unless you're itching for some Dan Steeves time, who I'm sure will be there. That actually seems like a pretty good deal if you otherwise have the time and dosh to travel/attend.

Yeah I didn't price it out. But I figured the club usually does a good job bringing players to these sort of events (not that I don't love me some Dan Steeves), and if you jumped on it you had a decent chance of being one of the first 10 and getting the passes to the bigger event.Well, it's not a great deal by any means, but if you're going, it's not a bad deal either. Though part of it is because there are 3 or 4 other threads that are effectively the same thing as this thread. The silence is just awful! The fact that nothing has been posted on here since Saturday just shows how dead this offseason has been.

In fairness, the weekends are a downtime for the forum in terms of activity. It's been a frequent cause of confusion for Dan and I as many forums are far busier on the weekend, but this one is at its most active on a weekday and is a virtual graveyard on Sundays. Being in the off-season also affects our daily traffic and postcounts I believe.

Understood. There was some interesting discussion about the timeline in the Roster Discussion thread if you missed it.True, but it's frustrating watching all these signings and transfers popping up on Twitter every 30 minutes and all we've got is T-Mac/Allen over the last 3 or 4 weeks.
