They sell out every single game.
Also, the point of my post is that in England people thing $60 a game for excellent midfield seats is too expensive.
I was lucky enough to watch a QPR home game last year last year and sat 2nd row at midfield, perhaps 10 feet from the touch lines. Tickets were $40 each.
My dad said to me "I bet you can't wait until NYCFC gets a stadium and you can watch NYCFC games like this!" and I could only laugh - I'll never be able to afford equivalent seats for NYCFC, stadium or no.
Goose Island is better than Carlsberg though, so at least there's that.

Hypothetical question: The MLS TV deal expires in 2022. Say the one starting in 2023 is big, like really, really big. Like NFL, NBA big. Do you think teams lower ticket prices because of the increase profit sharing from the national TV deal?

I'd love to be wrong but - no, I don't think so. Certainly not in NYC. I think US sporting culture basically says "you can tell they are good seats because they cost a lot" so no incentive to lower them. And that applies especially to premium seats.
I think supply and demand does apply to some extent at the low end and I could see some teams, maybe even NYC, making the cheapest seats reasonable if they need to juice attendance, but the premium seats are another story. To reduce the cost would lower their prestige. Won't happen.
Your hypothetical is basically: if MLS gets significantly more popular and demand increases significantly with supply essentially constant, will prices go down?
Hmmm. I'm reconsidering my decision not to have studied economics more systematically.

Didn't get one. Presumably you're going to use it to ask Alexa about a SSS several times daily on the off chance that NYCFC are using this device to spy on you / get to know the customer.
Maybe LionNYC will get one as our other Pitchside seat holder. I doubt they are sending them too far down the chain.
