Not season tickets exactly, but a nice offer for Columbia Students:

Just 31 years too late for me.
Glad to hear it's not limited to Columbia. I didn't get an email but found it as a promoted item on my FB stream.i got the same offer sent to my St Johns email even though i havent been in college for over a decade.
Oh shit, I hope I get this for Baruch. Not season tickets exactly, but a nice offer for Columbia Students:

I could always buy for you, if you so desire.Oh shit, I hope I get this for Baruch.
If you do the ticket swap through the front office, do you lose city points for BOTH games if they keep your new seats together?
I think you might...
Well stubhub has been working great for me so far! I posted the whole season two days before the galaxy game. I sold the galaxy game in hours. I've since sold this week's game and two random later season games, all at my cost!
So it appears stubhub has a more robust customer base!
I sold the galaxy game under cost, and 1 game at cost, 1 game half price only cause I forgot to to trade it, the rest I've had to trade cause it was the last day to trade and nothing was happening. I have marquee games at cost and they aren't selling, wtf. Last year I was selling dude games 20-40% over cost. This year is terrible.
#1 they offer too many seats for each match, devaluing all the seats.
#2. It’s more convinient to buy from ticketmaster at face because you get instant download. As STHs on the secondary market, we’re at huge disadvantage versus the club.
its a bit of a catch 22. On the negative my seats are worth less and i dont get squat for them when im trying to sell. On the positive side, i go to almost every game and sometimes need extra seats and i can buy them on the cheap cheap
I keep telling my rep; I’m not worried about my bottom line, but I don’t want to be a sucker either. If my tickets are worth half what I’m paying on the free market I’m not coughing up each season on a losing proposition. I might as well move to SS. Those re-sell well because the club doesn’t sell them directly. I could theoretically selll EVERY match. Then buy wherever I want “on the cheap cheap”. At least I’m not pissing away money that way. I could even up my swag budget.
i dont like to feel like im losing out on profits, so i just give tickets away for free
That’s actually what happens with me 90% of the time. It’s just starting to feel like a PSL more than a season ticket. Overpaying for years to be first in line for seats at a new stadium. Let’s say I’m overpaying by $1000 per season on the street value. After 7 years I just dumped $7k to the club for nothing. I could have purchased my seats for every match and gone for $7k less over that span. But I did it to pick my seats first? I’m having a hard time rationalizing it. And even if SS tickets take a loss, it’s probably not as large a loss over the season as my tickets. I could maybe be sold on the idea of a $1-2k PSL over several years.

i have supporters and theyre usually fairly easy to sell... at most losing like 5 dollars a seat. Very rare they dont sell at all and i just give them away. It also gives u the benefit of selling a single ticket easily because they are GA. On top of that youre paying about 350 for the entire season, so losing thousands isnt even possible.
