I'm definitely keeping my tickets now, because next year next year Patricof and Edelman will be personally delivering free drinks to the last 47 remaining season ticket holders.
Don't know what specious means and don't understand your second sentence. You capable of not being specious as fuck in this thread? Don’t you have a whole site about that shit?
Got it now. What was the benefit of paying for the tickets up front when there was no discount? You can’t get a refund for what you’ve already paid. They only credit it forward. Smart Ass.

Sorry.
Isn’t that what we are all asking?Got it now. What was the benefit of paying for the tickets up front when there was no discount?
Now that was saf (specious as f*ck).Isn’t that what we are all asking?
You still pay ahead with installments. And those monies are still not refundable. Now that was saf (specious as f*ck).
You responding to a question I did not ask. That's the strawman, by the way.
The question I asked is, given that you have made the decision to get season tickets, why would you pay upfront when they offer a no fee payment plan that has the added benefit of being able to cancel any unpaid tickets?
If this is true, I am absolutely wrong, but I don't believe it to be true. You still pay ahead with installments. And those monies are still not refundable.
ETA: as it stands, I’ll have my 4 tickets paid for for next year.
After I rake them over that I’m not paying full price, but only $100 for the rest of the year since I moved all to tier 6, it may be 3 years.
The payments are actually a few months ahead of the match date.If this is true, I am absolutely wrong, but I don't believe it to be true.
My understanding, after many conversations on the topic with the ticket office about the ticket transfer program, is that you can cancel unpaid tickets at any time.
They would not let me transfer out of a game I hadn't paid for yet because of this -- the only downside to the installment plan now that I think of it.
We should do a podcast.

You can. I don't think anyone is disputing that. But we have 10 home games left and because we have paid ahead we can only cancel probably 5-7 of them.Yes, but I was told that you can still cancel any tickets you haven't paid for yet.

How many of you thinking about canceling would stay in the plan if they promised to cancel the StubHub arrangement and went back to the resale program that existed the first 3 years?
I think the real lesson here is to get season tickets in the less expensive sections. I think mine are $26 per game? Fine to miss a few games.I would. As long as I can upload my e-tickets to any site. That would mitigate the losses I face every week I can’t attend. I’m not in this for the money. But it’s dumb to lose $100 a game. And pay $100 a game, when I can go for $20 or sit in the same seats for $60. If I only lost $10-$20 per game I can’t make, I’d consider that a win at this point.

This, 1000%. Mitigates the risk for sure.I think the real lesson here is to get season tickets in the less expensive sections. I think mine are $26 per game? Fine to miss a few games.
About anything. You can even call me Ethel. We should do a podcast.
Also, to follow up on others’ points, if you moved to tier 6 because you got dumped on via netting, you’re essentially getting the same seat deal as the $100 offer, but you’ve already paid for the entire year plus at full boat.Yes, but I was told that you can still cancel any tickets you haven't paid for yet.
