My reasons are I can't attend saturday games
mid-sunday is best, like the 1-4pm games.

I commend for your attention the following 6 minute excerpt from This American Life, in which host Ira Glass discusses with Shalom Auslander his decision to attend a NY Rangers playoff hockey game on the Sabbath, and the sacrifices that entailed.

ETA: the "pivotal break with faith" mentioned in the excerpt is not the point of the story to me (nor terribly accurate) - it's more about devotion to faith and devotion to team and what happens when those conflict.

Every year there is a tweet like this and I believe the journalist involved is honestly passing on what he was told by someone with knowledge and every year MLS pushes it back because they still have people with slide rules and graph paper making the schedule manually and they have last minute edits.

I think there's something to this. Playoffs aside, the schedule situation just keeps getting worse every year and it's hard not to conclude that the Yankees and MLS made accommodations for NYCFC the first 2-3 years and then decided no more.

The leaked RSL schedule you posted a page ago only has 3 midweek games for comparison.

We had 8 weeknight home games last year.
