I'm very okay with trading the #17 pick in the draft away. At this point its reaching towards the bottom of the barrel for quality. I would take the 50K in GAM and walk. I doubt he gets played more than twice.

seems bit too high considering we may not even have a full season this year. and they are a playoff team so options will be limited.

Yeah that's my argument, too. There is absolutely no reason to waste your time on a player you're not signing. Give that spot to a guy who you actually care about.

Given that Lion gave you a pretty good reason not to skip a pick and that no team has passed on a Round 1 or Round 2 pick in the history of the draft, why not just take the L and move on?

happy for these guys. i'm sure it means a lot to be selected in the draft. Of course, MLS draft is nothing like other leagues, but it's ONE way to make it big. Hope they can impress enough to get signed... otherwise good luck to them!
