i mean for me yes im aware, i think its more the feeling of Kjbert of "bait and switch" for 2022 but we have been warned of the possibility for 2022 and were given an option to opt out. unless im misunderstanding his point.

I know it's a lot more out of their control than us due to COVID, but Montreal's situation sucks.
- They've played all their home games to date in Ft. Lauderdale.
- They have a home game this weekend at Red Bull Arena.
- They then have a home game against us next week in Orlando.
- The rest of their home games don't have a listed location.
yea i do not envy the canadian teams at all. their situation sucks. They are opening the border for fully vaccinated individuals next week, which all MLS team members should be. Whether or not they will meet the other requirements, who knows. Border won't be open for americans to cross either, but not sure if the canadian govt will allow sports teams to travel. If so, hopefully MLS will reschedule their home games to where they should be.
People really overestimate how easy it is to make these schedules. I just shake my head when people make these criticisms. Do people really think the schedule makers don't know that having teams play each other twice in a close time frame and never the rest of the year is less than ideal? Or that the schedule makers think it was a good idea for NYCFC not to play Nashville ever until September 2021 when they've been in the league and the same conference since last year? Or that they are unaware that having 1 game in 3 weeks followed by 6 games in 3 weeks is sub-optimal? They know all of this.
But we have teams who don't control their venues, teams who cannot even play at their usual homes, teams sharing venues, teams who have to reschedule because of baseball rainouts, 29 weekends in which to fit 34 games, two new stadium openings, TV partners who insist that certain matchups happen at certain times of the year, and a FIFA international schedule that makes zero effort to accommodate MLS. So no, the schedule makers are not idiotic. This is how the sausage meat fits in the skin.

I asked the question. I was told no games at RBA. If they are considering that for 2022, then I was lied to.
Maybe I missed that email. But I asked a human being if I should be prepared for games at RBA. And he said no.
In what seems like a lifetime ago, I actually worked at the NFL and a good friend of mine is the guy who is now in charge of making the schedule.
Keeping in mind that most NFL teams have absolutely first priority in their venues, just know that making the schedule was nearly impossible each year by hand (that's how old I am), and only slightly easier with a custom-built algorithm.
A great 30 for 30 short on the couple that used to make the MLB schedule...

Some of the criticism is fair and self-inflicted. Despite having all of these scheduling problems since forever, MLS decided to add even more games to the schedule by making the Leagues Cup a thing.

we got the weakest liga mx team on paper. Pumas is really in need of cash now and selling their better players, and last season was terrible for them.
EDIT: oh and yes expect lots of pumas fans to arrive, one of the top four in terms of popularity in mexico.

This match against Inter Miami FC will be moved from Yankee Stadium to Red Bull Arena. Regarding the August 28 New England game in Yankee Stadium. The website and app have this one starting at 7:30pm. The ticket manager webpage says 3:30pm.
