I have been thinking about that game a lot. Every MLS team plays at the same time that day (Decision Day). If we're stuck in a 3 or 4 seed position and the outcome of our game and other games don't matter I see us resting our starters for the Wednesday play in game. If we can get a 1-2 seed and avoid the single elimination, do we play the starters and risk them not being rested if we have to play Wednesday?

You definitely play your starters to avoid an elimination game. Keep in mind there is an international break in the beginning of October so we should be rested as long as we can keep Ring and Chanot from playing a BS friendly and hopefully Wallace out of the WCQ match vs the U.S.
