Any thoughts on the survey that went out yesterday?

My most significant contribution:

One change I asked them to make was better quality and healthier food options. Also took a couple cracks at the lack of stadium news and gave them props for their community work and what seems like positive organization culture.

I also mentioned the lack of stadium information/transparency several times as a negative, etc. To answer the last question regarding changes before the 2017 season starts I said that we needed stadium info before then!!

Same... Even if they tell us that they're still having trouble locating a suitable site for a stadium, it's better than absolute silence.

Also mentioned that. And I asked they release info on Mix.

They asked a lot of questions about pre-game and half time entertainment. Personally I could care less about that stuff. I don't know if I'm in the minority on that.
I'm totally OK if pretty much personally neutral with City Beats pre-game, post-game, and halftime. It's the in-game stuff that drives me batty.

Same... I could care less about pre-post-and half time entertainment. Give me quality soccer, good food and drinks at a reasonable price and I'm a happy camper.

Oh... and cut down on the lines at halftime!

Those are the items that are easiest to adjust, even if they mean the least. It's like the joke about the guy looking for his lost keys under the streetlamp. He's knows he lost them down the block, but the light is better there.

Transparency is the big negative, I think. In addition to good community work, I also focused on ease of access as a positive. The stadium is a tough problem to solve, but good transit access needs to be non-negotiable while they're siting it.

One caveat to this is that I'd like to see us build to the kind of atmosphere you see in Portland where there is pretty continuous chanting from 15-20 minutes before the game. For that you'll have to kill the City Beats pre-game.

I made sure to shout out city in the Boroughs as something the club has gotten right.

Portland has 1 SG. The end.

Apologies if this is a loaded question but is this still a major issue for us? As a total outsider with no SG affiliation this past year seemed like a huge step in the right direction, it felt like all the multi SG rifts went quiet. I had been meaning to complement you on it because I had attributed the dramatic reduction in SG bickering to all the great work you have done since taking over the TR. Based on your comment it seems I'm just less aware of it but it's still a challenge.

It has improved. It is still a challenge too. Reasons may vary.

Said Mix needs to be on the field or off the books by March 2017. Gave City Beats a 1 out of 10 (10 being the best).
