I went to the City v Wydad match in Philly. There were more City fans there, but the Wydad supporters were another level. It showed the clear difference between fans and supporters. I think I heard one or two faint City chants, while the Wydad supporters were bringing the heat all match. It reminds me of how important Los Templados are to our match day experiences.
My buddy and I met several Wydad supporters and they were all super friendly. Some came from Paris, Roma and from here in New York.
The game was fairly dull because it got hot and City were happy to strangle the life out of the game after they went up 2-0.
The Eagles' stadium has a design where if you are in the concourses, you can't see shit. Made me appreciate the openness of both YS and CF.
We got breakfast in Philly and people were nice to us after we said we were from New York!
