For Fun - 2 Questions - Deuce Or David? What Circumstances?

I am curious to see the answers to these two questions. The guys are about the same age, yet pretty dissimilar in style.

I will give more opinions later, but I sort of think Deuce is the obvious choice for a weaker team because he actually succeeds at creating and scoring his own shot much more than villa. Yeah, Villa has more ball skills, but he just does not punish like Deuce. I swear it seems like he reaquires twice the chances for half the goals. But that's as an NUC fan.

I'm sure there are other opinions. I'd like to hear them. I think this is a novel little discussion topic.

I'd take Duece at this point. He's a better player right now thanks to his workman attitude and his ability create his own scoring chances.

Villa is great in his own right. His ball skills are far superior to those of Duece, but his finishing and chance creating ability are inferior right now.

This seems like it would be a little hard to judge currently since Dempsey isn't playing on a weak team. He's on a team that is able to get him the ball, and he doesn't get swarmed immediately when he gets the ball.
However, he does has an advantage in his ability to better take the physicality of the league. It's something Villa is still adapting too, and he sometimes seems to get muscled off the ball too easily, or is too often looking for the foul.
That being said, if you look at their careers Villa has much higher goal totals, even when he wasn't playing on stacked teams like Barcelona, or the Spanish National Team. The guy knows how to create his own scoring chances.

Also, Villa won't get suspended for ripping up a ref's book.
