Should continue our winning streak in MLS (3 games) this coming Thursday as we host Minnesota.
The team will get a decent rest with the early RB kickoff Saturday and a late start in this game on Thursday.
The next match after this one isn't until the following Wednesday so we should field our best XI. Would be amazing to have Maxi back in for TMac and a healthy Mata start at LB.

Kickoff is on Thursday at 7:30
Broadcast is YES WFAN (Online) and WQBU

Minnesota away: 8 games, 2 points, -14 goal differential.

Yeah, this one shouldn't be close at all. Test of resilience and concentration.
A win will make a 4-game win streak for us. Hopefully made easier since our midfield will once again have Ring/Hererra bossing it.

I'm finally going to be able to make a game since the Atlanta game. I have tickets in 203 and was wondering if it's possible if I can spend the first half there and then make my way to the supporters section for the second half. Would anybody stop me?

Anything less than three points is an abject failure.

We need to stop playing down to worse teams and just impose our will on them.

Yankee Stadium security aka Securitas would stop you. They want you in your assigned seats and no where else, especially the supporters section. Now if you buy a ticket for the supporters section as well they wouldn't be able to stop you.

Also if you're that late to the supporters section, you're probably going to have a very occluded view of the field.

Cristian Ramirez is very good. Like Cyle Larin good, except he lacks the consistent service.

I am confident we will win. But they have a guy who can poach a goal if our defense breaks down. Very important that our fullbacks track back and disrupt balls into the box. Callens has a way of sometimes losing his man mark in the box.

The best way to keep winning is to play a consistent team. I fully expect the same starting eleven. Although I would be tempted to replace Tmac with Mata and try Wallace behind Villa. I believe Wallace could do well in that position.

It's currently Gold Cup camp so we may be without McNamara and Johnson for this match.

We're in FIFA International Dates so Vieira does not have to release those players to the Gold Cup camp. Obviously, Vieira and Arena will have a call to sort this out (which I would love to hear).

Maxi is out. I'm not uncertain about that.

If we have to lose Johnson for a match, this is the one I'm most "comfortable" losing him for. Minnesota may be able to score on a semi regular basis in recent matches, but their defense is highly suspect and at worst, we'd be in a shootout... they still would need to get past Chanot/Callens for a decent shot on Johannsson, and RB couldn't do that yesterday.

I really believe that there needs to be a rethink on what happens on international dates. The fans should expect the best players to be available at all times barring injury and suspensions. This is why I would have games cancelled when more than two players were on international duty. For me it denies the fans of seeing the best players and could have an affect on how the final standings finish.

I will say that this has not been my experience.

At the beginning of the game, you will usually have your ticket checked. However, after the first few minutes, you can generally walk into any category 6 section with no problem. I've done it more than a dozen times and never been stopped. The field level is a lot tougher but I have sat in 135 without having my ticket checked before.

The supporters section is easier to get into than the field level but a little harder than the main level. If you have any sense at all about picking your moment you shouldn't have any trouble.

The freedom to sit nearly anywhere is one of the best things about NYCFC games, especially compared to Yankees games.
