Right now it is a picturesque day in the City. Sun is shining, the BECs are steaming, a thin film of mucus forming on top of the puddles near the curb in every borough. The sky is as blue as our dreams.
The fact that there has to be 30 responses to how you actually get to this match tells you everything you need to know about the location of this stadium.
It is a damn steam bath outside...there was literally steam coming up from the puddles as I went to the park after the rain. It's going to be a hot sticky mess (expect announcers to talk about the weather every 5 minutes).
Great. Watch RBNJ take a lead (my guess is on a Ben Sweat turnover) and then sit back and watch NYCFC blow chance after chance. Arrgghhh.
good luck today lads. me and few lads here in england will be tuning in. 2-0 NYCFC
can people post some pictures up after the game? i'd like to see the pre-match tailgate / party etc.. and also some from inside the ground of the away end... ? cheers

I expect to see a gassed RB team. They were gassed in the Cup game with their starters - Stache was sucking wind every stoppage they showed him. Without Dax steadying the midfield, they're going to be tracking way more against our passing and then trying to transition to their hyper-speed attack. I fully expect them to shit their pants when Hererra starts to exert his presence physically - hopefully a Felipe red in the making.
