Funny thing is I think Whalers gear is more popular in CT now than when we actually had the team. If all the people who like to sport their retro stuff had actually gone to games they'd probably still be in Hartford.

This might seem a cute or clever way for them to troll us tonight but I think it makes them look pretty stupid in truth. We'll have played what 51 home games all time by seasons end 50 in New York one outside of NY whereas they've played 100's of home games zero in New York yet still like to shout "New York is Red and white" every chance they get.

The only Hartford Whaler jerseys available on Amazon with Prime 2 day shipping, which they would need given the short notice, cost $135 and up. Non-Prime shipping eligible items cost not much less. T-shirts could be had for about $25 -$35.

Does anyone know if/how long it takes for replays to be available on ESPN3 or whatever they call it these days? I'm going to miss part of the game and i'm thinking of just waiting to watch it in the morning before PL matches start. Don't have DVR. I have MLSlive but that takes I think 3 days for national games to be available. I could watch the condensed version, which wouldn't be too bad, but i'd rather the full broadcast.
