I definitely want to see Ring as an 8 driving the ball forward and trying to shut down Almiron instead of center back.
Word out of Argentina is that Barco may replace Lanzini for the WC. Which would mean he has to leave ASAP. I'm not sure he made the trip in the first place, but it may put him in doubt for the XI today (granted he played80' on wednesday)

As much as I would love that to be true, Messi is the only teenager Argentina has ever taken to a WC. Maradona himself didn't make it to the 1978 one (he was in the provisional roster but was cut), nor Dybala or Saviola or Ortega or Gallardo or any other precocious talent.
