This argument presupposes that our struggles are due to motivation. I don;t believe that to be the case, the guys play hard, talent level is low though.
I would only support relegation if it went down like this at the end of every season:
Now, it's the first time in the history of Hungarian football, desperate fans of a club in the southern town of Pécs decided to bury football after their team dropped out of the top tier of the national league. [...] They had a digger come into the pitch on the last day of the season to dig a grave and put a coffin in it. [...] "It was a surprise for everybody because a big excavator just entered the field and dug a hole in the middle of the field and they brought a coffin, a cross and they literally and symbolically buried the local football. It was a shocking moment for everybody there, nobody was expecting it."
Suppose MLS operates like most other leagues and relegates the 2 worst teams to NASL...Do you think if they had more to lose they would be under more pressure to perform
