Can somebody comment if HS summer school has changed so that students can get ahead on their credits like college athletes do? Because when I was in school, the only reason anybody went to summer school was because they didn't pass a class(es) during the just finished year. It'd make sense that Sands would like to try and graduate early so that he's fully free to be a pro and not have to worry about studying during the season.
Last summer my daughter took a class online she needed to graduate from high school in New York because she couldn't fit the class into her schedule -- so the short answer is yes you can take HS classes you need to graduate for the first time over the summer.
