Made It

Had that before it's good. A friend of mine lives on 29th and we ordered that before going to the beer garden.

I'm going to talk to my brothers, they run it now, and see if we can get a discount going for forum/SG members.

Note that when a women asks you if you're looking for a "good time" - answers are subjective and dangerous - I recommend the flight response

If you are staying in Times Square (Crowne Plaza?), take a short subway ride (the 1 train uptown to 59th street Columbus circle) or a short taxi ride to Central Park if you have time this afternoon/tomorrow (and weather permitting) as you are 5 minutes away. It's not the best time of year, but it's still beautiful.

@NYCFC_Dan

I agree just walk up from Times Square to the Park and get some fresh air, it's only 10 blocks from the Crowne Plaza! I was just there and it's lovely, if a bit breezy. A million times better than last week though!

For dinner head over to Hells Kitchen on 9th Ave. you can get whatever food you would like over there and much better value than the Times Square are. Worth the 5 minute walk!!

Tomorrow, as long as not too wet, like people said get Staten Island ferry. It's free and you get an awesome view of the city and liberty island. You can just get back on and come back to the city once you get to SI.

uhh if you want the best pizza NY has to offer go over to L&B in Brooklyn, get you some real good spumoni while you're there too

Having lived in Brooklyn my entire life.... I agree. BUT its really out of the way for someone staying in midtown with limited time in NYC.

Phew. What a day. Had to wake up at 4.30GMT - half past midnight EST. 90 minutes of train rides into and then out of London for an 8 hour flight to JFK. Met up with @NYCFC_Dan and we went to Central Park as suggested and walked around for a while before dropping in on the beautiful @Michael. Mellamphy and his bar. Then we had enough time to ascend the Rockefeller before looking around Times Square and then retiring to the hotel. Now I've been awake for almost 23 hours and am on the verge of collapse.

Looking forward to seeing as many of you guys tomorrow as possible. Big weekend coming up!

Seriously though, buzz me tonight. I'll be in the city somewhere catching a new Spike Lee movie. I'll take you to a dope spot.
It couldn't happen man sorry. Vires wanted to meet up as well but the itinerary was booked. With the meet and greet tomorrow and game Sunday that's almost two full days we won't be doing tourist stuff. Tried to get as much in today/tonight as possible.

I won't be making the party tonight but would obviously like to meet some of you guys. Have you decided on a bar before the game tomorrow?

Yeah I don't think I can make it tonight either. I'll be doing pregame with the Third Rail but do you guys have post game plans?
