Mikey out 3-4 months!

I think the point is that some of us don't see any value at any price point.
For me, it's that I can't believe that there aren't any number of USL or NCAA guys that couldn't do the same job at least as well. I don't see a need to praise him for being a below average sub who tries hard. Hell, half the reason he "works" so hard is because he's so poor in every other facet.

To my eye, he adds nothing beyond whomever would replace him. So I'm glad he works hard and he seems like a great kid. I'd love for him to prove me wrong in my evaluation of his ceiling. But he's not young and not really showed much potential, and he's had a lot of opportunities here and elsewhere, so he's not an RJ-type project. He got looks in USYNTs and was on the books of a good MLS team for a good while. For me, that indicates he very likely is what he is, and I would just as soon give someone else a shot.

I think he is a below average MLS player that has no Cap charge. He helps us in certain situations and only certain situations. He's not a 90 minute player.

Where we disagree is on his ability to disrupt an opponent in a 20 minute spurt.

He's a guy making what, $50,000 a year? And we're expecting him to be more than a role player? That's entry-level salary stuff for the vast majority of people.

The guy gives his heart and soul every time he's out there, he's a hard-worker, and a good dude. Can't ask for much more than that from a guy with his salary.

Regardless of how we feel about Mikey, his presence and role must be filled. Although he's young and a rookie, this is a great opportunity for Awuah to make an impact on the team. If he does well in training, I expect Awuah to be our guy late in the game as we're holding onto a lead or tie.

I think we're on the same side here. I think he has a role on this team. Others don't

It's really more of a fault of the front office that a guy who should be near the bottom of the roster started a playoff game for us.

This I can agree with, but it was part of PVs tactics. He didn't have to play him.

We also held them scoreless with Lopez on the field.
