MLS and Apple Broadcasting Deal

I haven't checked blue sky in a little while, but last I saw it was basically just a bunch of accounts that mirrored their x accounts. I'm not a big fan of x, but I think it's pretty good if you know how to use it right. Blue sky is basically x but not owned by musk and with limited exclusive content and lacking lots of the actual valuable content on x. I'm not sure I see any point in using it.

I officially thank all those who repost X, blue sky, whatever content here. I’m like CCMore . I don’t go to any of those places and rely on this crowd for my news.

(Though I do use insta for restaurant and travel research. But still, fuck meta.)

I'm a big BlueSky fan (and a regular-size Mastodon fan LOL). I do still have a Twitter account but lately I only use it to see my daughter's occasional posts as she has a private account there.

BlueSky is cool, and Mastodon, because there's no force-feeding of accounts you don't follow. They're both just showing you what you choose to see, without an algorithmic feed. So yes, BlueSky's a slow start but with a bit of effort you can build a feed that makes you happy. Also, the BlueSky "culture" is block-and-don't-engage, so there's not all that much trolling and arguments. It's kind of refreshing to be honest.

I'm on both, same name and likeness. I've been a bit neglectful lately, especially of Mastodon, but I've been busy with the health stuff. Getting back into the grove now.

TMOBILE TUESDAYS get it today!!!! Don't forget!

note, if you're metropcs, you have to do it via the metro app rather than the tmobile one.

Not sure if mentioned yet but there's a dedicated episode to the red bulls loss in the new apple tv doc
Yeah, during the playoff game I was that Nick has a mic on his and asked why. He said it was for a documentary. There were a lot more cameras on Pitchside for it.

Let me know if anything on it is worth the watch. I don’t enjoy these sporting documentaries from the prior year since we follow the league closely and know what happens, unlike the first F1 season when watching were new to F1

I remember thinking it was weird that there were so many cameras and boom mics around the postgame fight. We might get some fun audio out of that ...

yea this is definitely something to attract fans to the league. those who follow the league closely may get some entertainment out of seeing the player stories. for example, the trailer seemed to indicate that there will be at least some talk/focus about malachi jones and his path to the league.

Just watched our episode and it was fine I guess. Everything was limited to Jones, Tayvon, and a couple of Cushing F bombs. I will say though I came away hating Tolkin 10x more. You'd never know that the kid comes from a top 15 richest US town the way he talks and acts.

For those who don't know, the first episode of the documentary is FREE to watch. just need to log into appleTV. you don't need to start a free trial or anything.

I agree. I was ready not to hate Tolkien until he started calling Gray and his team “hoodlums”

The audio and video is good. But the MLS 360 and Countdown and the in-game commentary are all so bad. I have to watch the games with the sound off, and as much as I wish otherwise (because I love the Golazo show on UCL and UEL days, and NFL Red Zone) MLS 360 is brutal.

The backstage crew tonight kept having to bail out of replays because the teams were restarting play faster than they expected. Just no feel for the game behind the camera, and the announcers are not at the level. It's such a pisspoor production all the way around. I miss Joe and Ian.
