ESPN got it right but MLSsoccer, what are they thinking?

We went into Orlando's house, scored a goal in front of 62,000 of their fans, they needed a miracle deflection to steal a point at the last second and MLSsoccer thinks we deserve to fall further behind Orlando? Are they out of their minds?

Ok, in the MLS poll we got passed by Houston (admittedly solid win over a top East team, even if helped by Deric awesomeness), Portland who scored no goals at home after being hilariously pwned by Nick Rimando, and Montreal, who just lost Justin Mapp and lost to DC. Yeah, sure guys.

Sports Illustrated hasn't redone its power ranking in six weeks, and NYCFC jumped from 18 to 3.

Powers rankings are BS pseudo-science for lazy journalists to get an article out once a week. But to be so lazy that it takes 6 weeks to shuffle the teams around and write a few quick blurbs?? And meaningless rankings are not, if you jump something from 18 to 3 when there are only 20 options, it's an clear indictment of your methodology.

That's some serious laziness.
But to be so lazy that it takes 6 weeks to shuffle the teams around and write a few quick blurbs??
You'd think the magazine with Grant Wahl would more frequently update this
The article explains why they didn't update for 6 weeks. It's not laziness but it probably is an editor's unwillingness to have his writers devote more than a limited amount of time to soccer.

SI basically ignored MLS while the international tournaments were going on, and basically continues to do so while its writers vacation.
