Here's a topic for discussion.
What starting XI does Pascal plug in?
Does he keep tonights lineup intact (Shore)?
Does he go back to O'Neill?

i think he goes back to oneil for experience in the midfield vs a very experienced miami midfield. ojeda will prob stay on to keep alba honest and take the space left behind, like he did with wagner tonight.

I think it's between shore and gustavo. both played their hearts out so it will just depend on what type of formation jansen wants to play. my guess is shore will sit.

Didn't KOT essentially play CM tonight (maybe it was inverted FB but it looked more like CM to me)? If Shore sits, does that mean Haak in the midfield and Raul at CB or does he do the KOT in midfield thing again with HAAK at CB and Raul at lb?

otoole played a CM tonight with shore. i think he'll stay there if shores sits.

other option is gustavo sits and shore stays in the midfield and otoole goes back to lwb.

it will depend what jansen wants to do with his backline and how he sees them matching up against miami. miami have allende and the new kid who's starting over suarez. they're both pacey and look to stretch the back line. i think jansen will opt to keep gustavo on defense for speed and a big body.

jansen can shock us all though and do something entirely different. so we shall see.

I wonder if the formation will be driven by whether or not he thinks he can smash and grab a 1-0 win in Miami. Holding that team scoreless is a lot different than holding Charlotte or Philly to 0.

If he thinks he will need more than 1 goal, what is the most offensive set he has? I think it is KOT back to LB and Raul sits. Or I could see him leaving the backline as is, sitting Shore, and giving Haak freedom to roam forward knowing he has Raul to play make shift CB at those times.

Anyone get an email about the sale of road tickets. I got the 3rd rail one but need 4 so not doing that.

The email from the club went out last night. Seems like you can only purchase however many tickets you have on your account:

Due to the number of tickets available and high demand for this match, City Members will be limited to purchasing a maximum of 2 away tickets. Should you have 1 membership on your account, you will be limited to requesting 1 away ticket.

If you need 4, Third Rail is allowing a waitlist for guest tickets.

Nobody (except for us) expected us to get this far. At this point, I’m just in the…happy to be here, have fun regardless of the outcome…camp. But let’s beat Miami, boys!
This is how I felt in 2021, though. They peaked at the right time and plowed through where the last three games were all away.

2021 vs 2025
4th vs 5th in the east
8th vs 9th overall

Dispite being a city member and founding member. I don’t get emails.

Anyone know what section the away tickets are in?
According to their website, it's section 123.

EDIT: I see someone else on reddit said it's in 127, so I'm not sure which is correct. Miami should keep its website updated.

It's 127 starting at the last row and going forward.

Inter Miami though is terrible at away supporter relations and will sell tickets to their own Miami fans in the designated away supporters' section. Has caused some real problems in the past and Miami fans having to relocate.

Not surprised in the least by that.

So the question is a back 5 with Shore keeping his spot and Wolf/Ojeda (I think it would be Ojeda as O’Toole will effectively play LW) as the man out for O’Neill or having Haak partner with O’Neill.

Gotta say, I’m feeling pretty confident either way.

Freeman we've had before. I don't recall him being a scandalous ref. Let's hope he calls an even game and didn't get the garber call to favor miami.

big fingers crossed.

doesn't seem like anybody is giving us much of a chance to advance past miami. tbf that's probably the most reasonable and probable take. but i will choose to believe in miracles. things just feel so much like 2021 except we don't have a star striker available.

these boys are playing for club legend status now. win the cup with this roster and injuries and they will have all pulled of the best mls cup run in MLS history, imo.
