My expectations are low. We're the underdogs. The team overachieved this year. I want the boys to give it their all and not get embarrassed. This squad gave us great moments and hope that I never expected to have this season.

Agreed. It feels like we've arrived to this point a year or two early, but also it's so hard to get to this stage, so now I'm greedy. There's no guarantee we'll be back here when we're at full strength. Hell, Cincy and Philly sure expected to be facing off tonight. To say nothing of LAFC out west.
I wasn't expecting a win against Philly, but I thought it was a good matchup for us and I was hopeful. I'm not expecting a win today and I don't think it's as good a matchup for us, but who's to say we can't get a Matt Freese masterclass. It certainly seems like Maxi is trying to go out in a blaze of glory so I'm certainly hopeful.
The way KOT was talking this week, we're going after them. That's all I ask: be brave and get on the front foot and get after it.
Playing on the front foot is when we’re at our best, so I’m hoping we see that tonight. We sat back in Game 2 against Nashville and paid the price. Trying to bunker against Messi is a disaster waiting to happen. We need to aggressively counterpress Miami’s shaky back line, keep the ball, and punish them for the fact that Messi doesn’t defend. Make those aging midfield legs chase, and trust our back line to clean things up when we inevitably get caught forward. If we go down, let’s go down swinging; we’re playing with house money at this point anyway.
This is the way I'd approach it were I in Pascal's shoes. Make them run. Run, run, run.
