MLS Cup Playoffs - November 7 - Charlotte (Away)

Interesting subs. Taking off two of our most disciplined players and leaders for a couple of youngters? In this situation?

I get the fresh legs aspect, but I'm not lovin it.

It's FieldTurf Vertex CORE, very similar to the crap at MetLife Stadium and Mercedes-Benz in Atlanta. No slide to it. Lots of Achilles injuries, torn up knees and ankles, etc.

I think Perea landed all tangled up and his foot didn't slide out from under him the way it would on grass. And snap.
Getting trapped under another body can happen anywhere though.

Nico all over the pitch, Julian hopping around in circles in the middle of the pitch. Why is the guy that's gone 90+ out working you?

Or just let Haak play CM, and put Raul at CB. There has to be some advantage to playing our normal formation even if it's slightly less defensive. I never understand why soccer coaches always want to go super defensive, even if it means putting players in positions they have no experience playing.
I’d even take Tana here if it makes them more comfortable pushing Haak up
