Working on perfecting this joke...
10 year anniversary of NYCFC's inaugural home opener in 2015 when they faced New England. NYCFC won 2-0. Patrick Mullins scored the 2nd goal but all information and footage of NYCFC's first goal scored at home has been lost. For the 40k+ in attendance, they recall it being scored. Despite fan's posting images and videos of the goal, the Club continues to deny its existence.

I clearly recall this goal. Was definitely unassisted, and because it was the home opener it counted for two points. Simples.
It’s the 10th Anniversary of NYCFC’s victory over New England in its inaugural home opener. The match was revised to a 1-0 victory in 2020 when a VAR review determined that David Villa does not, in fact, exist.
“You’re going to remember that NYCFC won this game, and realize that Chris Wingert is a guy you can build a team around. Oh yeah, and Poku could have been something.”

Seriously. Go easy on this guy, he looks like he's 12.
He refereed the 2-2 game at Citi Field vs. Chicago where Gray had that idiotic handball in the final minute of the match (Matarrita level absurdity). I can't argue with the referee on that call.
I got no complaints about him from last year's game.
