MLS - May 15 - Philadelphia (Away)

I am dreading the possibility of a Rangers Game 7 during the Derby.
Charlotte just won, but we're ahead of them in the table on tiebreakers. Toronto lost. So, we're sitting fourth in the Eastern Conference, three points behind Red Bull.

This derby is going to be off the hook.

I’m not at all sure, and really don’t have a way of finding out, but I think Martinez’s goal last night was our quickest goal in team history

Always the grump, Callum Williams and Calen Carr kept pissing me off by incorrectly referring to the derby as the New York Derby. It's the Hudson River Derby, FFS.

yea. i think it just goes to show the poor preparation and knowledge these guys actually have. they should have done their homework and should not have made such a very simple mistake. but sure, pat themselves on the back for having 3 minutes of raccoon commentary and getting muted by apple for 5 seconds for being so damn annoying

Drives me nuts. I'd have someone's ass in my briefcase for the kind of laziness I consistently see on the MLS broadcasts.

To be fair to them, the Red Bulls seem to call it the NY Derby. We call it the Hudson River Derby. But it's not like El Trafico which has one name that everyone agrees with.

the HRD trophy was established a few years ago. That pretty much makes it official that both sides have agreed it is called the Hudson river derby. BWP even referred to it as the Hudson River Derby in his very biased article. Any announcer/journalist worth their salt would be aware of it with a 30 second google search.

I agree with you. It's the Hudson River Derby. MLS's website also refers it as the Hudson River Derby. MLS and NYCFC call it the HRD. Red Bulls call it the NY Derby. It's the Hudson River Derby no matter how much the Red Bulls think they're a New York team.
