Don't we have to cut a foreign player to make all our signings? We have 10 spots IIRC.

He's just on trial so not on our roster yet. My guess would be Alvarez might be loaned out/cut.

For those of you that care about FIFA ratings or use that to gauge how good a player is (lol), he is a 69, compared to 63 and 64 for the other guys.

And again. Nothing has been said by the club. Hernandez might not be going anywhere. Nor Sebastian. However, someone needs to be cut or go on loan for this signing to take place.

This is crazy, everyone freaking out because Herandez wasn't at practice for one day. Let's just wait and see, just because the guy misses practice one day doesn't mean he got cut. I know we like to speculate around here (myself included) but this is a whole new level.

Josh Williams made $125,000 in 2014. I'd cut him well before Hernandez, and even before Brovsky or Allen for that matter. It's sad that health concerns might derail his career, but he's not helping us at this point and is well down the depth chart.

Grabs, Seba, Hernandez, and Wingert are some of our weaker players and were not top 14 in their teams last year. Mullins has been nice and Ballouchy a revelation, but we need better quality.

Besides Bright Dike returning to Toronto from a loan on 6/30, no transactions have been recored on MLSsoccer.com for the past two days. Hopefully something is posted tomorrow.

I think it's a bit careless to consider cutting regular starters mid season. If we cut Wingert and Hernandez today who is out starting CB next to Facey and who is the back up? Yes, they are expansion players, not the best, but who is taking their place? They are also proven serviceable backups who can back fill new signings in case of injury. I think people need to understand the level of a typical non-DP in the MLS. MLS is filled with guys like this and until the cap goes up considerably NYCFC will always have players like these guys on the roster.

Looks like everyone is still with us. Seba still on Twitter. Responded to one of my tweets today. Has NYCFC under profile. I think they would of announced anything

That was to save cap space if we cut a semi-guaranteed contract. We still need to cut to make room for players.
