One midweek game with big implications for the East: Orlando hosting Philly.

On Saturday, RBNJ host Toronto, West leader Colorado host East leader Philly, and Montreal host LA Galaxy.

On Sunday, the only game is ours against Orlando.

Also, two USMNT warm ups for the Copa America: Wednesday vs. Ecuador and Saturday vs. Bolivia.

Then, there are some Wednesday and Thursday games next week before the break for Copa America.

Good opportunities for Philly and Montreal to drop points on Saturday.

What is the right rooting interest for the Orlando-Philly game on Wednesday? Do we root for a draw to nick both teams, or are we better off rooting for Philly to beat Orlando if the goal is to get into the playoffs on the theory that we need to find three teams (plus Chicago) to finish below us and Orlando is an obvious candidate? I'm probably pulling for a draw at this point because I'm not sure of Philly's bona fides and would rather generally take points off the table from all eastern teams. I could see it either way though. In any event, hopefully Kaka and Larin work hard.

I am still sticking to rooting for a draw in all Eastern Conference matchups. Too early to be more strategic.

I am also rooting for yellow cards for Brek Shea and Christian Higuita, which would suspend them for our game.

I think it's fair to be satisfied with a draw or Philly win. Yes the table could turn, but a Philly win is not only good given the current situation but furthers the advancement of the current situation. The tie is safer to be sure, but the only disappointing result for me is an Orlando win.

A draw for all except whomever is playing RB..... and then I hope they win, but not just win, but win big, and choke a player and tackle a knee.... yeah, RB deserves that each and every game.

Is any of the Disneys out of our game due to yellow accumulation?

That 2nd Orlando goal is extremely controversial. Did it even go all the way in? MLS needs goal line technology.

I don't think it did and the first one really looked like a foul by Larin on Blake (who should have punched away) Simbas had a foul in the box on union so obvious most of the players just stopped playing. Not called.

Yeah. If I was a Philly fan I'd be piiiissssssed over that goal that was a non-goal.

Is it just me or is there always seem to be a lot of controversy during Orlando games for questionable goals?

Looking back at that game, I don't think I've seen a soccer team get screwed by officials as badly as Philly did. Leaving aside whether the 2nd Orlando goal crossed the line, both Orlando goals should have been called off for fouls committed. Plus, there was a 100% penalty call against Orlando that wasn't made. The players even stopped for a moment the call was so obvious.

SKC - DC the half time will be longer then the game time! Take a page out of baseball and just call it a full game after 45.

Nah, let SKC put one in first THEN call it a game.
