Parker deserves a chance here, can't argue with cheap American talent (listed at 50k on transfermarkt) especially since the hammerheads are going under and we need someone to fill in the spot Mullins left behind.
This was a dumbass game. I'm sorry I watched.
If Lopez starts a game short of him being the only eligible option, I may jump out a window. He's a shit player who's butt hold tightens up so much under pressure, you could shove a dime up his ass and he spit out 9 cents change.
This game shit on all the why isn't mix playing theories. It's obviously due to some personal issue PV has with him. He's still easily one of our best 18.
Again, this match was stupid. If you disagree, I wish I could be like you and live in a fantasy world where Occam's razor didn't apply. Blissful ignorance seems a delight based on how many people here excel at calling a shit sandwich a fine dining experience.
And again, let it be known I take responsibility for being a bad fan and turning my tv to this spectacle. I am guilty and ashamed.
Because we have playoffs coming up and we risked our best players. Why is that not a big deal?Who cares if this game was a marketing ploy? Why is that such a big deal? Sure, it could have risked injury, but the way the players competed on the field made it crystal clear what the goal of the game was for Vieira: To get a run in and stay match-fit during the international break.
Yes, of course this was a marketing ploy by the club. That's the main reason why this game was played.
I fail to see why that's such a big awful deal.

The fact that their old asses didn't get hurt was pure luck.
You're judging an outcome. I'm judging the process and rationale, and both were misplaced and ill-thought.
You know what was a better plan not to get them injured? Stay the fuck home.Again, for the players with a spot in the 11, it seemed pretty obvious they were holding up and not playing at 100%. It seems pretty obvious Pirlo and Villa were not putting themselves in dangerous positions. I don't think it's "pure luck" they escaped from this game without injury -- I think that was part of the plan.
