With Jack Harrison looking to finish an impressive second in the MLS Goal of the Year contest, I thought it would be fun to see what we think is the NYCFC Goal of the Year. No disrespect to Jack's ankle-breaker, but I am not sure it would finish first.

Let's use this thread for nominations - then I will return with a Poll.

Post videos if you can. Below is a link to the Club's YouTube page for convenience.

Any of those are better than jacks. Sorry still not understanding how it passed voting
I guess it's a matter of taste.

To me, Jack Harrison had to do the perfect thing 6 times, where each move had a difficulty rating of 6.

David Villa had to do the perfect thing 2 times where the last thing (shooting) had a difficult rating of 10.

True, the opportunity to shoot from near halfway comes up less often, but that's less a matter of skill than fortune.

I think this is still my favourite:

From the initial Villa flick, to the run from Harrison, the flick and that amazing first time finish. I was right behind that in the goal (same game as the halfway chip?) and the curl on it was superb! I was sure it was going wide after he hit it!

And yet somehow you didn't mention the superb distribution from Saunders that made the whole thing possible.
