If he really was suffering from viral pericarditis, he should be over it by now. It's a viral infection of the pericardium. It's not a chronic condition.

Kwame is paid little enough that he occupies a spot somewhere in the 21-28th place on our depth chart, therefore his salary does not count against our cap space. Since he is shit enough that no one will pick him up, and since if we cut him his guaranteed salary will count against our cap space, lord Kwame will likely finish both this and next year as a NYCFC player. That is when his contract runs out and we won't be resigning him.

I'm not a doctor but if you keep reading the article it mentions that he has had blood clots for a number of years.
