Well that's just speculation. Usually we never know. The league rarely announces such deals and the club's rarely if ever announce it as well. To be honest, Vancouver really doesn't have anyone interesting.

I would have thought if it was a straight sell on then NYC would have got something our of Vancouver apart from half the fee.

They are wondering on the Melbourne City site if he may be going to them.

The news release says in additional to splitting the fee NYCFC will get future compensation for Salgado.

The consensus seems to be Salgado will most likely be heading to Mexico. Though, I don't think it is completely out of the realm of possibility that we could keep him. It certainly wouldn't be good to go into trade talks with Mexican clubs if they knew we HAD to sell him. If we don't get an offer that suits us then I don't think we will or should sell him.

especially if it is tigres as many are pointing. They are in a final right now and probably wont hear anything from them until January Transfer window.

i know im new to MLS but dang, there are so many rules that it gets confuising

Ive been following MLS since I was 10 and it still confusing to me because they change the rules like they change their underwear. No worries

Personally, I secretly think Salgado could be the next big thing for America. I hope he stays too and maybe under Kreis becomes the man we all think/hope he is.

We have no idea what stage the transfer is at. I expect him to move on, thats what MLS, Whitecaps and NYCFC said would happen. But me personally, I wish he would stay. He was one of the best picks I made on NYCFC in FIFA14.

He can't actually be sold (although a deal can be agreed) until the transfer window opens in the country of the buying club. Wherever he is going, that probably means 1st of January.

During that time my daughter spit up partially digested milk on the floor. Shortly thereafter my dog responded by cleaning up the "mess". It was a fond memory. One I will not soon forget. Thanks for the memories Salgado.
