Positives, anyone?

  • 4 of the goals were conceded on corners (ok so one was a deep FK that was essentially a corner). That can be cleaned up, no way they will be that bad on corners again.
  • NYCFC grew into the game and was playing better before the two goals at the end of the half (against the run of play).
  • Refereeing will inevitably give them some calls, because they deserve it after that.
  • Harrison looked good, and if he's a player it's like you just got a nice transfer.
  • Still above RBNY in the standings and still with a chance to win the season series, 2 more games left.
  • PV will know he needs to adjust tactics for the next game.
  • 3 more home games coming up to wash off the stench and climb up the table.
  • Long season and they will not play this bad again.

Positive: not one person at the office asked me how the game went. (Either they were treading on egg shells or they are frikken ignorant heathens).

The forum is still functional 48 hours later. (I had my doubts.)
Sure, whatever.... But there haven't been any stadium posts since and I blame that entirely on the game. Everybody is too high strung to be able to make semi-educated and ridiculous guesses. Seriously, that Red Bull Wedding fcked up the stadium mojo and that should be the first post on the new thread for Negatives, Everyone!

Maybe not what you're looking for, but the tifo was fantastic. I think it was the best one yet.

Make sure to watch the full video:

I'm the guy who took this video. I'm just a regular supporter who tries to get the best shot he can from his seat. I don't have any special access to the field or any other areas of the stadium for that matter. As you can see from the video, although decent, the angle could be better. With that said, if anyone has a clear shot of the supporters section from an elevated position, and could get me in temporarily for the start of the game the next time we have a large TIFO, it would be greatly appreciated! We could even swap seats for the first half or something.

I also try to take some photos at the game and post the better ones to my Instagram. Just started getting into photography and this was the first video I ever tried to take/edit. Any feedback or tips would be more than welcome. Thanks!

Going by your forum name, your new interest doesn't sound like good news.

Thanks for the video!

I posted on city voice (so that the FO would see it) that the team should arrange to have a camera in the 300s/400s and put the shot of the tifo on the Jumbotron so that it would be more visible.

Great idea! But maybe they're worried about something controversial being unrolled and putting it front & center on the Jumbotron? Not that it isn't visible from the entire stadium anyway, so that's probably not the issue. How about they're lazy?

Seeing as he's a baby-faced kid with developing super powers, I'm fond of JackJack.

When he is running down the flanks, it is a...
Jack Jack Attack!

The FO has to approve the tifo before it's even made.

The positives I see here:

- We didn't set a new record for the league's highest loss (only equalled it)
- From this point on, even a 5-0 loss next game will look like an improvement
- Saunders let in 7 goals, thus further harming his reputation (and improving Johansen's)
- Jack Harrison
