Potential Change to College Soccer Season

The Division 1 college coaches of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America have formally proposed to the NCAA to change the current college soccer season from one that runs August-December to one that runs August-June.

Seems like a positive step in the right direction to improve college soccer as well as development of college soccer players. Also allows the soccer playoffs to be held in June after college football and basketball seasons are over.

this screws all the amateur leagues that depend on so much college talent ( PDL, NPSL, and to a lesser extent....PLA and other regional leagues). wonder what they will do once this happens
