Pretty fire kit IMO.
Pretty fire kit IMO.
It’s terrible.
It's the new look sweeping England!
Holy shit that’s bad!!! Are Adidas and Nike working together, or did one hack the other’s designs and think it was a novel idea?

I don't understand the hateHoly shit that’s bad!!! Are Adidas and Nike working together, or did one hack the other’s designs and think it was a novel idea?
It's because it's ugly.I don't understand the hate
Dude, you write some of the most complex and thought provoking posts on the forums that leave many of us scratching our heads and rereading, so I know you’re able to take deep dives with your ideas on what you see. Fortunately, these kits don’t need complex interpretation, so that’s where you’re going wrong. Dial your focus back from 10 to 1 and it will set you free, and you’ll see the horror of the 1997 photoshop fade filter Adidas and Nike are using.I don't understand the hate
To me it's a lazy representation of a concept that could actually be interesting as function. I.e. they are representing continuity rather than actually making a continuous kit, which would actually be revolutionary.Dude, you write some of the most complex and thought provoking posts on the forums that leave many of us scratching our heads and rereading, so I know you’re able to take deep dives with your ideas on what you see. The continuous kit has already been done. Refer to Cameroon’s 2004 unitard Kit.To me it's a lazy representation of a concept that could actually be interesting as function. I.e. they are representing continuity rather than actually making a continuous kit, which would actually be revolutionary.
But it's still visually evocative.
I was just waiting for someone to @ me with this when I posted the Spurs kit. I think that I will be skipping this iteration.
It's the new look sweeping England!
Weird, you can't even tell that that's a unitard. Also visually discontinuous .The continuous kit has already been done. Refer to Cameroon’s 2004 unitard Kit.
it's got a lot more popping out, tooWeird, you can't even tell that that's a unitard. Also visually discontinuous .
Bold 2018/19 predictions here we goooo:Anyone else want to make some early predictions on top 4?
Here’s mine in order:
Man City
Liverpool
ManU
And............Everton
lulz - jk
Probably Spurs for 4th.
I know, I know. Really brave picks there, Midas. But I look at the league, and I think the three NW clubs are nailed on barring some crazy rash of injuries. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I feel as certain about those three as I ever have about a top 3 (which means I’ll be wrong, of course).
Really interesting to see how Chelsea fare. They could be losing their two best players, but either way, I’m intrigued given that their recent success (so all of it - lulz - I’m killing it this am ) has been under very defensive minded (read: negative tactics) managers. That is absolutely the opposite of what they have now. I wonder how long it will take for the players to adapt. In any event, it will be nice to have 5 of the “big six” trying to play football.
Also, I actually think Everton could compete for a Europa spot if they stay out of Silva’s way and the fans don’t go toxic overreacting to every little thing early in the season (the Mersey responsible for this Liverpudlian propensity for Nihilism? Nah - I actually think it’s geographical - but not a river-based mystical mire of hopelessness - and it’s part of how I ended up being a Liverpool fan in the first place.). I strongly believe him to be a really good manager.
Burnley will suffer from Europa curse, so they won’t be competition. Aresenal will probably be right arkund that 5/6 spot, but may push for 4th given how many goals I expect from PEA. Early call that he’s right up there for the golden boot.
City fifth and Spurs Eighth? You should actually put 100 dollars on this with the odds you'll probably be able to retire if it comes true
The same Tottenham that had nearly their entire starting squad make the WC semi-finals?
These are my "bold" predictions. If you want my safe predictions, that's something different.
...But there's usually a team that shits the season terribly, and I have a feeling this season it's gonna be Tottenham. Also yeah, Man City's off-season so far hasn't given me enough to see them push for a second title. I have a feeling the other big teams will work their way around city. You watch!
And Toronto FC were the best in MLS 5 months ago.The same Tottenham that had nearly their entire starting squad make the WC semi-finals?
