Same Boring Frank Lampard Thread 2.0

So let's whine about sucking and whine about a player that'll help us suck less.
Not whining about that. Whining about still waiting. I'm impatient, Dan. What do you want me to do? I can't change at this point. It would require significant investment of time and energy, and frankly, I'm too impatient for that.

Had the privilege yesterday of going to watch franks last prem game.was made captain for the day and duly scored.was govern a standing ovation by both sets of fans.he was interviewed on the pitch and came across as a truely humble person.said he felt fit enough to carry on at the highest level for at least another two years and how he was looking forward to coming and giving his all for nycfc.on the scoreboards images were shown in his new york kit wishing him good luck.a truly classy send off for a truly classy player.well done frank and well done city.good luck.you will be an absolute credit to new York city

Am I allowed to whine about how the guy who lied to us singlehandedly outscored the entire roster of our team -- the team he abandoned -- this weekend?

Don't care what your answers are. CFG and Lampard can eat dirt.
Its six months on mate time to let it go what's done is done .one player isn't going to make to much difference playing with that team of dead wood that's been assembled.

Yeah, I'm sure we all wanted him here sooner, but I'd be more inclined to blame CFG than Frank. He probably didn't know where he was going, and was probably going to head to NY, before MCFC saw a need for him. When you sign with a Group like that, rather than a single club, those are the risks you take. He'll be here when he can, and he'll help as much as he can. Those that hold a grudge against him can sit on their hands when he scores or assists and be the 1% in the stadium doing so, especially for all the crud that's been spewed at him on this forum. If you're trying to find the deceiver, compare the two, a guy that's been described as "class" from nearly everyone who speaks about him, or a football conglomerate with unlimited money to spend, that's allowed to control the narrative.

I would like to hear what Man City and CFG would say if they knew where they would end up in Premier League and UEFA Champions League at the end of the season, if they would they have even "signed" Lampard to Man City. The only value he provided was merchandise sales. He would have been a better factor in games playing for NYC.
Just checked yesterdays programme frank featured in 37 matches for the runners up in the worlds best league.also featured in the champions league where city went out to the probable winners Barcelona. Captain, goal scorer and man of the match yesterday. And won over all city fans that branded him fat frank.

Man City will be in YS for Sat match against Houston Dynamo. Lampard is not on the list of traveling players. Its probably just because he's not a "player" anymore technically. Do you guys think he will be here in NYC on Sat ? I doubt it but you never know. If he is, probably wouldn't be in uniform.

There has been no announcement as to when he will join us.
General consensus is he cannot join us until both the EPL and MLS transfer windows open. EPL opens July 1 and MLS doesn't open until July 8. Our first game after that is July 12 home against Toronto. If the consensus is right we can't see him in uniform for another 6 weeks. Many seem to think he's allowed to train with us between now and then but there's no definitive answer, and even the consensus about July 12 is not official. Maybe there's some loophole we don't know about that will let him come sooner, but there is still no announcement.
Thanks CFG! Typical NYCFC communication mode: when you're not lying about Lampard don't say anything.

Not a single person on the team who would have finished this 1st time.

You dont see it in the vine, but not a single person on the team would would have calmly probed the top of the box drawing the defense forward and accessing all of the options before making the pass that led to the cross the way Silva did. Silva created the space they needed to get the ball in and then Milner sent in a perfect cross. I agree that we don't have a person on the squad that can finish the way Lampard did. My worry is that we dont have anyone who can make the plays needed to get the ball to Lampard in a position like that either.

Let it go mate ,why not ask the nycfc front office what was on that piece of paper he signed ?
Fans from every club in the UK paid tribute to him yesterday, the ultimate professional, and yet we still have about 5 posters on here that carnt move on.
It really is pathetic.
I have a better idea: you just accept Manchester City is a piece of shit, pathetic club that committed one of the shittiest moves in world soccer to try and win but it didn't work anyway.

The sooner you do that, the sooner you won't mind us speaking the truth about Lampard and Manchester. :)

Why would I need to ask NYCFC front office what was on the paper? Frank Lampard has already told you, me and everyone what was on the paper:

Or if you're a fan they made a great move because he helped win them a few games that put them in 2nd at the very least.
All about perspective. Let's just not get back into this aruement about MCFC/cfg. Working and don't feel like deleting posts on my lunch break.

I really couldn't give a shit what you think about city .
Being a season ticket holder and match goer for 45 years your views are just that your views.having met frank a few times I have got mine.
What ever is posted about frank on here is just criticised every time, and liked by the same people,it is just so predictable.
Blame whoever you want if it makes you happy .
Having read that link it states he basically signed a commitment/pre contract and not a contract like nycfc stated .
But just move on if you can or just boo him if you want or if your so outraged don't give nycfc any of your money
What yesterday showed was how well he's respected from fans from every other team in the country.
Maybe you lampard haters could get seats together and start a chant or something.

Yep, I'm sure Lampard's world class cheerleading led the squad to its wildly successful step backwards from last year.

Good perspective. Its not like we needed the player we signed. Nope.

And oh yeah, it's just a commitment. I guess a piece of shit fanbase like Manchester's wouldn't understand the importance of honoring one's commitments.
