So, did Sean John just get taken off the NYCFC Christmas card list?
Even with the recent craziness, he'll forever be our Johnson. Congrats to him.
Wow Rimando is so far ahead of the pack.Even with the recent craziness, he'll forever be our Johnson. Congrats to him.
And a decent bet to make it to #2 on that list.

Wow. I kinda gotta wonder how his career would be playing out if he had stayed in NY.![]()

With Guzan retiring, I wonder if Johnson goes home to Atlanta?
D.C. United.
I, for one, really feel for Johnson. DC is making some moves so maybe they'll be OK this year but that's back-to-back bottomfeeder teams, and you'd think at this stage of his career he'd want to try to chase a Cup. He's still good enough to be the guy on a contending team, not sure why this is the right place for him.
This sounds right to me: have gloves, will travel.I bet that he's chasing a paycheck and going to the highest bidder (which was reportedly why he left NYCFC to go to Toronto). Can't say I blame him. MLS salaries are not generational wealth like they are in other sports. He got his cup. The smart move is to bank as much as possible before it's time to hang it up.
Wait, is Barraza still with DC? That would be a fun re”unite”ing
Sad.FWIW I believe Barraza was cut loose by DCU when their season ended.
