That’s amazing, I know Andy (and probably his sources in government) but this is way too far out to consider anything near a done deal.
So if we're "way too far out" how can developers think they can complete the project by 2022?

Because it doesn’t take too long to build things once everything is settled. So if we're "way too far out" how can developers think they can complete the project by 2022?

I reached out and confirmed. Just to make sure he wasn’t trolling Nick. Sounds legit.Lmaoooooo

Besides if this is done through ESDC the City can’t do a damn thing about it.

But… if when the RFP goes up and there’s competing bids from places that would offer more jobs, or more housing then it’s a fight.
Plus thousands of STH's who will mobilize just as we do for MLS fan votes. The CityPAC is ready and funded to go.
I've learned two things during MLS Stadium searches...
1. Never let it go to a public vote.
2. Never let Bill de Blasio touch it.
The CityPAC is ready and funded to go.
Third time. Today is now the day of stadium news and people not getting the reference.
Watchmen? And on the forum these words appear:
'My name is Stadium Thread, Thread of threads;
Look on my words, ye Mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.
(Fine, different classical reference, whatevs)

Well, it was fun to dream for part of a day.
Take it for what it’s worth but he added that there are 3 other known bidders that are providing affordable housing and that NYCFC is at 50-75% for winning the bid. However if they were the ones that leaked the info it would impact those odds.

Where do you think they'll put the David Villa statue?
A conservative is a liberal whose stadium plan is opposed by the Village Voice.
I don't think our fans are dedicated to go to MLSsoccer.com or clicking a Twitter link for a goal every now and then in all honesty. But when urged through a serious email and letter sent from the front office, and a front office wide coordinated effort to mobilize the supporters of this club, to reach out to local politicians, we will be active.
Maybe not calling and emailing everyday like I would, but something close to that, hopefully. I imagine that the supporter groups will coordinate mobilization efforts too.
People on twitter started going on about the bricks which game me the excuse and opportunity to point out they never said bricks.
Really, this day cannot get better.
